ShroCat, when I adopted my little Suzie and Pearl from the SPCA,
there was a leaflet given by them which stated that for cats /
dogs, i.s.o. giving milk straight from the bottle, we can make milk
for them by mixing 1/3 evaporated milk with 2/3's water. My kitties
seemed to like that mixture.
Anyways, I only gave milk to kittens. Once they're grown up and
strong, it's Science Diet and the occasional treat of canned food
with chunky meat or fish pieces once or twice a week.
My Suzie LOVED Strawberry Yogurt! I was watching TV once whilst
eating yogurt, and when I tried to scoop yogurt out with my spoon
without taking my eyes off the TV, my spoon hit Suzie's head
because she had stuck her entire head into my yogurt!!
What to do, had to give her the entire
yogurt because not hygienic to share food that way!
From then on, everytime I went to the fridge, she'll hover around
and meow pathetically until I bring out her small bowl and scoop
dollops of strawberry yogurt for her. She'd lick so fast, and then
ask for more!
I couldn't eat the yogurt faster than she did!
